One of the strategies I mention in the blog that Collins will release later today is that of mini investigations that bring together a number of topics. This could be a really cool element of your scheme of work because it allows for some open-ended independant learning. Independant learning is one aspect that I will be trying to develop to a greater degree next year – but want to start with some of my current Y9 after the Easter break.
Plug into the Collins blog area to get an idea of what I’m suggesting.
